What we do
After meeting to consider current issues and concerns, the Committee will, where necessary, make a statement, publish a consultative paper or commission research to support an inquiry. We hold informal meetings with practitioners and experts and formal hearings open to the public and the press where the issues are explored in detail.
Where appropriate, we then publish detailed reports for the Government which are held and available in the Public Record Office.
While the Committee is always pleased to hear about possible areas for inquiry, it is not part of our remit to investigate individual allegations of misconduct.
