Committee on Standards in Public Life to Hold First Hearing on 16 June 2009

The Committee on Standards in Public Life are to hold their first hearing in which they will hear evidence into their inquiry into MPs' expenses. Witnesses due to appear before the Committee that day include; Professor Anthony King, Professor of Government, Essex University; the Rt Hon Harriet Harman MP, Leader of the House of Commons; Alan Duncan MP, Shadow Leader of the House of Commons; and David Heath MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Leader of the House of Commons.
