Committee on Standards in Public Life to hold first hearing on 12 March 2009
The Committee on Standards in Public Life are to hold their first hearing in which they will hear evidence into their inquiry into openness and accountability in Local and London Government. Witnesses due to appear before the Committee that day include: Paul Rowsell from the Minister of Local Government Office, Bob Neill MP, Shadow Minister for Local Government; Councillor David Parsons, Local Government Association; and Sir Robin Wales (Mayor of Newham).
